Recently, the circle of friends saw a video content of the assembly of a large motor frame and stator core, which also inspired individuals to discuss this topic with you.
For most high-power motors, both high-voltage motors and low-voltage high-power motors, due to the large size of motor parts, the processing technology involved has been limited to some extent, and the assembly of stator and frame is a very realistic case.
For box-type frame motor, there is an assembly mode of stator and frame, that is, the frame of motor is split structure. When assembling, the stator core is first put into the frame, and then the two are fixed with the moving parts of the frame. This assembly mode requires extremely high assembly skills and detection control level of personnel, otherwise the air gap between the assembled stator and rotor of motor is most likely to be uneven, and even serious quality problems of bore sweeping will occur. For this reason, the assembly process was gradually eliminated, and then evolved into a hot sleeve process, that is, the frame was heated first and then assembled with the stator at room temperature.
There are also two ways of hot sleeve technology. One is to put the stator winding on the ground and cover the heated base from top to bottom. The problem that is often overlooked in this technology is the protection of the lower end of the winding, and some even put the winding directly on the ground, which eventually leads to serious deformation or damage of the winding end after assembly, which increases the quality hidden danger of winding failure. Therefore, it is necessary to have necessary tooling to protect it.
Another way of hot-jacketed frame is to put the heated frame on the ground and put the stator down from top to bottom, which can better ensure that the stator end is not stressed, but we must pay attention to the stator entering process and the collision of the end seat, as well as their relative concentricity.
When using hot sleeve technology, in order to ensure that the axial positioning size of the stator meets the requirements, the leading-in angle of the stator (such as through necessary chamfering) and positioning support must be fully considered in the design and processing of the frame.
