Case 1: Maintenance of Conductive Ring System
The main link in the maintenance of conductive ring system lies in the replacement of carbon brush and the removal of dust. There are many problems in this link: the matching surface between carbon brush and conductive ring does not meet the requirements; One case is a wonderful work. When the fixing screws involved in the disassembly process fall into the inner cavity of the motor, the special electromagnet effect during the operation of the motor attracts the conductive foreign matter that has entered the inner cavity to the stator and rotor, and the direct consequence is that the windings of the motor show signs of grounding. Due to the incomplete isolation between the inner cavity of the conductive ring and the inner cavity of the motor, the possibility of foreign matter entering may occur in the manufacturing, testing and later maintenance of the motor, which must be highly valued by the operator.
Case 2: Maintenance of Bearing System
For most motors, it is only necessary to select and install the bearings according to the original ones. However, there is a bearing installation directionality requirement that must be met, that is, the angular contact ball bearing applied to small and medium-sized motors installed vertically. When installing this kind of bearing, the contact angle of the bearing must meet the requirements, and the motor rotor can be "suspended" or "lifted" through the bearing. Therefore, it is necessary to know the real installation state of the motor when maintaining the motor, and select and install the bearing correctly according to the original assembly requirements of the motor. The problem encountered this time is that the maintainer reversed the direction of the angular self-contact ball bearing matched with the motor, which led to the serious noise problem of the motor. When this kind of motor is tested, it is also necessary to simulate the running dog position to ensure that the test effect of the motor is consistent with the running effect.
