1. Inspection of shaft head bending

Rectification can be carried out on a press, and the bending part of the shaft is pressurized and straightened. The corrected surface should be polished.

2. Repair of keyway wear

When the keyway is seriously worn, surfacing welding can be used at the worn place, and then annealing can be used to eliminate welding stress, turning and countersinking the keyway. If the keyway is not worn much, the cloth at the grinding place can be widened, and the widening amount should not exceed 15% of the original keyway width.

3. Repair of journal wear

When the journal is slightly worn, a layer of chromium can be plated on the surface of the journal by electroplating. And then ground to a specified size. You can also spray a thin layer of metal on the journal by metal spraying method, and grind the journal car with sprayed metal to the specified size. When the journal wear is serious, it may cause the stator and rotor to rub, so it is necessary to use electric welding surfacing at the worn position of the journal, then anneal to eliminate the welding stress, and then cut and polish to match the size.

It should be pointed out that repairing the journal by surfacing welding may cause deformation of the rotating shaft, and it is necessary to repair the badly worn journal by inserting sleeves. If the rotating shaft is broken, it needs to be replaced with a new shaft with the same steel grade.
